The fundamental purpose of the financial aid office is to provide assistance for financially disadvantaged adult students who, without aid, would be unable to further their education. Financial assistance includes grants, scholarships, and tuition fee waivers. The primary responsibility for financing education lies first with student and the student’s family.
Two financial resources that many adult students utilize are PELL grants and Oklahoma’s Promise, otherwise known as OHLAP. Other resources include, but are not limited to, vocational rehab, and in-house scholarships.
All adult students are encouraged to make an appointment with our financial aid coordinator and visit about the assistance that may be available. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 – 4:00.
