Financial Aid

FAFSA-400x217.jpeg

The fundamental purpose of the financial aid office is to provide assistance for financially disadvantaged adult students who, without aid, would be unable to further their education. Financial assistance includes grants, scholarships, and tuition fee waivers. Eligibility for federal aid is based on financial need. The need is the difference between the cost of your education and the amount you and your family can afford to pay.

Two financial resources that many adult students utilize are PELL grants and Oklahoma’s Promise, otherwise known as OHLAP. Other resources include, but are not limited to, vocational rehab, and in-house scholarships.

All adult students are encouraged to make an appointment with our financial aid coordinator, Monica Cox, and visit about the assistance that may be available.

Complaints or concerns about financial aid practices, policies and procedures can be made to:

Cassie Farr, Chief Finance Officer, in person at the Administrative office,  580-480-4730 or cfarr@swtech.edu

Complaints can also be made to ODCTE at https://www.okcareertech.org/about/state-agency/policies/comments-or-complaints-policy
