Southwest Technology Center recently recognized six outstanding team members for their dedicated years of service to the school and its mission of workforce development and student success.
Honorees included:
Karen Bertrand, Administrative Assistant for the POWER Program – 20 Years of Service
Aracely Gonzales, Business and Computer Technology Instructor – 10 Years of Service (not pictured)
Kerry Evans, Business Development Director – 10 Years of Service
Tyler Tims, Practical Nursing Program Coordinator – 5 Years of Service
Candace McPhearson, Practical Nursing Instructor – 5 Years (not pictured)
Southwest Tech CEO Dale Latham expressed appreciation for the group’s loyalty, professionalism, and impact. “Each of these individuals plays a vital role in helping our students achieve success—whether through instruction, support services, or connecting students and businesses. Their commitment to education and excellence strengthens our school and our community.”
The annual service awards celebration is part of Southwest Tech’s ongoing commitment to honoring faculty and staff who go above and beyond to make a difference in students' lives.
