Southwest Technology Center is proud to announce Monica Cox, Financial Aid Coordinator, as the August Employee of the Month. Cox is recognized for her exceptional leadership in financial aid, her commitment to student success, and her diligence in maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.
“Monica does an exceptional job of representing us on federal accreditation visits and is passionate about seeing that our students receive assistance to go to school,” reads the nomination submitted on her behalf. “She has forged great relationships with other technology center financial aid directors and ODCTE financial aid staff to assure we are in compliance with all the federal regulations that are required to administer these programs.”
Cox plays a pivotal role in helping students access financial resources that make workforce training possible. Her proactive communication with partners and her attention to detail ensure Southwest Tech continues to meet rigorous standards while removing barriers for students.
