The Southwest Technology Center Foundation recently awarded 25 scholarships totaling $16,500 to students enrolled in full-time career training programs at Southwest Technology Center. These Foundation scholarships help remove financial barriers for students pursuing hands-on technical education leading directly to career opportunities in Southwest Oklahoma.
The Southwest Tech Foundation is dedicated solely to supporting students through scholarships funded by local donors, community organizations, and individuals who believe in strengthening the regional workforce.
“We are incredibly proud to support these students as they work toward building their careers,” said David Braddock, President of the Southwest Tech Foundation. “When students don’t have to worry as much about how they will pay for training, they are able to stay focused, complete their program, and enter the workforce with confidence. Our donors make that possible, and we are grateful for their commitment to Southwest Tech students.”
