Aracely Gonzales receives award

Southwest Technology Center is proud to announce Aracely Gonzales, Business and Computer Technology Instructor, as the November Employee of the Month.

Known for her positivity, flexibility, and unwavering dedication to her students, Aracely continues to exemplify the spirit of Southwest Tech’s mission — Changing Lives One Career at a Time.

Aracely joined Southwest Tech with a passion for helping students succeed both personally and professionally. This year, she has expanded learning opportunities within her program by adding two new career majors: Legal Office Assistantand Financial Assistant. She has embraced these changes with enthusiasm, creating a learning environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and real-world application.

Her colleagues describe her as an innovative and adaptable instructor who gives 110% to everything she does. “Aracely brings positivity, flexibility, and dedication to everything that she does,” one nomination stated. “Even with students working in different areas, she ensures that each one receives the support and guidance they need to succeed.”

Another colleague shared, “Aracely has established an excellent rapport with her students, which is reflected in the respectful and professional atmosphere of her classroom. She actively engages her advisory board and fosters lasting relationships with program alumni, many of whom return to share their successes.”

Aracely’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom. She is known for her can-do attitude, professionalism, and for continually upholding the positive image of Southwest Tech. Her enthusiasm and care for her students make her an outstanding educator and a valued member of the Southwest Tech team.
