Southwest Technology Center recently hosted its Winter Awards Assembly, recognizing students from across campus for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding achievements during the semester.
Students representing multiple programs were honored for earning program certifications, demonstrating mastery of technical skills and a commitment to professional excellence. These certifications reflect the hands-on, career-focused training that prepares Southwest Tech students for immediate success in the workforce and continued education.
In addition, Students of the Quarter were recognized for their exceptional performance, leadership, and positive attitudes within their programs. These students exemplify the high standards and work ethic that Southwest Tech strives to instill in every learner.
The assembly also celebrated students who achieved perfect attendance, acknowledging their reliability, commitment, and consistency. Perfect attendance is a key indicator of workplace readiness and professionalism, qualities highly valued by employers.
Southwest Tech further recognized its Student Ambassadors, who serve as representatives of the technology center through campus tours, community events, and outreach activities. These students play a vital role in welcoming visitors, supporting school events, and sharing their personal Southwest Tech experiences with prospective students and the community.
