A new year has begun, and Southwest Technology Center is proud to continue recognizing outstanding staff members who go above and beyond in service to students and clients. As we move into a new semester and another year of excellence, Southwest Tech is excited to honor its January Employee of the Month.
To kick off the spring semester, Mrs. Amber Legrand has been named the January Employee of the Month.
Amber was nominated for her dedication, passion, and commitment to student success. In her nomination, it was noted that Amber is a caring and innovative instructor who continually strives to enhance the classroom experience for her students. She is always open to trying new approaches, goes above and beyond to improve her program, and works tirelessly to make learning engaging and meaningful.
“Amber truly cares about her program, her students, and upholding the image of Southwest Tech,” the nomination read. “Her hard work, passion for her subject matter, and commitment to excellence make her very deserving of this recognition.”
Southwest Tech encourages students, staff, and community members to congratulate Amber when they see her and thank her for the positive impact she makes every day.
The Employee of the Month program is proudly sponsored by Emily Worrell with Southwest Crop Insurance, an avid supporter of Southwest Tech and its mission. Emily is pictured with Superintendent Dale Latham and Amber Legrand in celebration of this recognition.
Southwest Tech is grateful for employees like Amber Legrand who help make a difference and contribute to a strong culture of excellence.
