Southwest Tech is proud to recognize Kimmie Allen, Career Guidance Counselor, as our September Employee of the Month!
The beginning of a new school year is one of the busiest times for Student Services, and Kimmie truly went above and beyond. She worked tirelessly to help students get into the classes and programs they wanted, supported instructors, and carefully worked through program waitlists as openings became available, helping students who had been waiting get their opportunity to begin training.
But it wasn't just what Kimmy accomplished that stood out. Her coworkers repeatedly recognized how she did it. Kimmy was described as always positive, always smiling, professional, creative, and willing to jump in wherever she was needed without hesitation.
Her dedication to our students and staff made a tremendous difference during those first few weeks of school and continues to make an impact every day.
