Southwest Tech was named the Air Force Association Community Partner of the Year for 2022. At the local level, our partners join with our military and civilian members to support our Chapter’s programs to develop community understanding of and support for the Air Force and specifically Altus Air Force Base. Southwest Tech and the partnerships between the 97th Maintenance Group and the AAFB STEM office. For over two decades Southwest Tech has supported the Maintenance Group with trained mechanics to staff their workforce. The AAFB STEM office works closely with Southwest Tech in exposing area youth to science, technology, engineering and math.
Southwest Tech is up for the Air Force Association Community Partner State award which will be announced later this year.
