They then had to vote for the best, craziest candidates. Southwest Tech’s Metal Fabrication, Automotive, and Graphic Design students recently hit the road for the SkillsUSA Fall Conference, and it was a blast! They dove into hands-on workshops, picked up cool new skills, and got to connect with industry pros. It wasn’t all work, though—students had the chance to team up with others, share ideas, and get inspired for what’s next in their fields. A big thank you to Hernan for driving the bus and making sure everyone got there safely! All in all, it was a fun and energizing experience that left everyone feeling pumped about the future.
