A lot going on in Metal Fabrication!! 2nd year students have finished one project of building all new welding booths for the shop and now we are starting to put up our 20x40 enclosed extension onto the back of our shop. Excited to be able to use this extra space!!! Big thank you to Steve Feller and David Brown of the fabulous SWTC Maintenance team for helping us set the poles.









🎨🏆 Our amazing BioMed student and Student Ambassador, Abby Reyna, took home Best of Show at today’s Anadarko Monster Chalk Competition! Representing Altus High School as a Senior! There were so many incredible artists, and Abby shared how honored she was to draw alongside them.

Southwest Tech is excited to partner with Oklahoma Highway Patrol to bring you a FREE! Safe Riders Course!! This is 8-hour course will be at Southwest Tech on Saturday, October 12th, from 8A-3P. 🎉📚 This week was a major milestone for the Teacher Prep girls as they taught their very first lessons! 👏✨ On Monday, Ava Hess, Harley Snapp, Gwyn Gilbert, Addy Robbins, and Sarena Baze rocked their lessons on slime, ombre nails, paper butterflies, fireworks in a glass, and professional introductions, respectively. 🦋💅
On Tuesday, Avaree Friese, Rayne Louviere, Kylee Schmidt, Emma Gambill, Chloe Sanders, and Abri Hernandez took the stage with lessons on paper flowers, coloring in depth, friendship bracelets, bullying awareness, and origami bracelets! 🌸🎨🐧
The girls had a blast and picked up some amazing skills for confidently standing in front of a class and leading lessons! 🎤🙌
