Our SW Tech Bees did a GRATE job at the annual fundraiser for the Great Plains Literacy Council! Our team, The Southwest Tech Bees, Jason Carter and Sarah Biddy were in the bee for FIVE rounds of spelling! They were nearly INDEFATIGABLE (meaning capable of working a long time without tiring : TIRELESS) It really takes courage to put yourself out there in any competition, especially something like a spelling bee. Just entering and giving it your all shows a lot of confidence and courage. They are truly appreciated for taking on this assignment of studying the words, and taking time out of their Saturday morning to represent SWTC and all to help our community literacy program! Hats off to The Southwest Tech Bees! 🐝🌟

You never know who will pass by the hangar here at Altus Quartz as Airframe instructor Larry Grimes and some students hung out with Governor Kevin Stitt for a brief moment with a photo op today and a quick hand shake or two yesterday. Governor Jeff Landry of Louisiana was here as well at AXS, all though students didn't get to meet him they were excited seeing his jet Taxi and Takeoff with an Embraer SA EMB-550.
