"Hangar 33" Southwest Tech Aviation Spotlight of the Week! Turbine Power plant students finishing up the challenging subject of Jet Engines prior to moving onto piston engines. The last couple weeks has brought about some heavy maintenance and creative engineering with engine removal and thrust reverser replacement. Along with remove and install of these large items the students put in extra effort the get 2 of our thrust reversers functioning after 20+ years of sitting static all while utilizing items sitting around the hangar being unused(no expense). Great work and well on your way to becoming world class A&P aircraft mechanics!
