This week was filled with excitement as students from our neighboring schools explored Southwest Tech! 🎓 They dived into hands-on activities across various programs, gearing up for potential enrollment during their junior and senior years. 🛠️💡
Our dedicated Southwest Tech ambassadors guided these tours, sharing their invaluable experiences and discussing the incredible learning opportunities available here. It's been amazing to witness their enthusiasm and passion for what they're learning. 🚀
Did you know? Juniors and Seniors within the Southwest Tech district attend tuition-free, allowing them to learn valuable skills or prepare for college without financial barriers! 📚🎓

Our POWER Program staff in collaboration with Oklahoma Human Services are here to help with your goals. The POWER Program will have Human Services staff at 10:00 AM on campus Thursday 11/30/2023 to help you apply for benefits, no appointment is necessary. Hangar 33 "Aviation Spotlight of the Week" would like to recognize our Aviation Administrator Mrs. Prickett and our many students hard work in organizing and setting up for Saturday's pancake fundraiser, it's looking good and we're almost ready. Please come out Saturday morning to the Aviation Campus on the airport and support our students efforts to raise funds for attending State SkillsUSA Competition in the spring. Donations for the meal and more.

The Phlebotomy Class needs volunteers to help them complete their required number of sticks and blood draws. It is easy and you will be a hero for these soon-to-be healthcare professionals! Class times are today and Thursday 6-8:30 PM. Arrive at the front desk for directions.


Thank you Jackson County EMS and Air Evac Flight Team for providing tours for the EMT students. The hands-on experience adds to the in-depth curriculum for these students and soon to be emergency responders.




In conjunction with the Balloon Festival this Sat, Nov. 11 the Aviation program will host their annual pancake breakfast from 6:30-11am.
Come out and support our students going to the SkillsUSA competition this spring.
Enjoy pancakes, sausage, bacon, face painting, balloons and even purchase a few Rosie the Riveter t-shirts.


Hangar 33 "Aviation Spotlight of the Week" evening instructors Mr. Parker and Mr. Corrin have had the students troubleshoot, service, and operationally check out the Piper Navajo landing gear system.
