SWTC offers a program called Graphic Design, where you can learn to draw, use digital art, and learn different art skills. If you have taken this program, are currently taking, or are want to take art and design classes with the technology center, SWTC offers classes on the ED2GO website to further your studies. You can also take these classes from home, or from anywhere.

Metal Fabrication had an In House Fabrication tournament last week. Students were given a blueprint drawing to be welded with SMAW 6010, 7108, and GMAW welds and a blueprint drawing to be cut out by oxy act torch. There were two classes in the tournament. High school student and the adult students.

Metal Fabrication is a course that allows you to learn the skills you need for welding, and you can earn certificates to become a welder. These courses are open to adults and high school students. If you are wanting to further your education, you could take the ED2GO courses Business or Construction and Trades to further your experience and education. The Business course can help you gain knowledge in owning your own business, and how to run it. With the Construction and Trades course you can learn more about welding, construction and more that can help you gain more education in the field you are wanting to study.

Metal Fab students getting ready for their AWS D1.1 Welding Certifications on Wednesday May 10th, 17 students will be testing on either 1G (flat), 2G (horizontal), 3G (vertical) or 4G (overhead). After completion and passing, they will each be certified in their respective positions!
