Snow days are behind us and the hangar is busy again ❄️✈️ Students are back to learning with forklift training, building the ground support skills that keep aviation maintenance safe and efficient. Meanwhile, others are hard at work in the shop tearing down and inspecting powerplants, getting hands-on experience where it counts. From ground equipment to aircraft engines, every role matters in aviation maintenance—and it’s great to see everyone back in action after the weather delay.

🛠️ Hands-On Training, Safety First! ✈️ This week our students were up in the air—literally—getting hands-on experience with scissor lift training. Learning how to safely operate ground support equipment is a critical part of aviation maintenance, and our students are building skills that translate directly to the flight line. As we head into the weekend, winter weather is rolling in ❄️. Just like on the ramp or in the hangar, safety comes first: • Slow down • Watch for ice and slick surfaces • Dress for the cold • Give yourself extra time to get where you’re going Whether you’re training, traveling, or relaxing this weekend, stay alert and stay safe. We’ll see everyone back next week ready to keep learning! 💪✈️ #AviationTraining #ScissorLiftTraining #SafetyFirst #WinterWeather #FutureAMTs #AviationLife

🏀✨ Teacher for a Day – Entrepreneurship Style! ✨🏀
Our entrepreneurship students put their Empowered Class Dollars to work and purchased a “Teacher for the Day” ticket — and Hayden delivered! He created a full lesson plan using basketball as a team-building challenge to show how sports and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.
Before hitting the court, teams huddled to create game plans, assign roles, and look for opportunities — one of our 8 Foundational Principles. Students stepped into leadership roles, taught teammates new to the game, showed integrity in their responsibilities, and encouraged one another to create win-win moments on the court. Every player had a purpose, passion, and a part in the team’s success.
After the game, students reflected on how basketball is just like running The Corner — it takes teamwork, stepping into unfamiliar roles, giving 110%, and trusting each other to reach the ultimate goal… scoring points and making a profit!
An outside-the-box lesson with BIG takeaways — because entrepreneurship truly is everywhere in life! 💡👏
