Our high school 2nd year cosmetology students put their creativity to the test! Each student was given a random nail design sketched by a peer and had to bring it to life on the nail table. From abstract doodles to wild masterpieces, they gave it their best shot and the results did not disappoint. 😍

👨🔧 This afternoon in Auto class, Larry stepped up to demonstrate how to properly patch a tire for his classmates. Hands-on learning moments like this not only build skills but also give students the chance to share their knowledge with one another. Great job, Larry! 👏
✈️ This week in Mr. Schroyer’s Aviation Maintenance class, students have been hard at work on the cockpit simulator for the Cessna 414 aircraft. Their focus has been on setting up and configuring the various systems to mirror real-world controls and instruments. From flight instruments and throttle controls to navigation systems and other key components, the simulator is being designed to provide a hands-on, realistic training experience.
The ultimate goal is to have the simulator fully functional, giving students the opportunity to practice and deepen their understanding of aircraft systems and flight procedures. It’s been both a challenging and rewarding process that’s helping prepare them for future success in aviation. 🚀
🔧 Our Automotive students wrapped up the week by breaking down engines and getting hands-on with real-world skills! 💪 From taking parts apart to learning how everything works together, they’re building knowledge that drives their future forward. 🚗✨

✈️ Big thanks to the Elks Academy with Elk City Public Schools for visiting our Aviation Maintenance program today! Students got a hands-on look at aviation opportunities after high school and learned about the high demand for A&P mechanics. 👩🔧👨🔧
A Phlebotomy class is scheduled for October 21 through November 19. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00 PM. The course will introduce students to the skills and knowledge of phlebotomy with in-class, hands-on practice. No medical expericence is necessary. The Certified Nurse Aide course will begin Wednesday, October 1. This class is the first step into a nursing career. Class times are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
