The Graphic Design program has kicked off two exciting initiatives this year: a monthly tradition called Work It Wednesday and a refreshed curriculum titled Yes I’m A Designer.
On the first Wednesday of each month, students arrive to class dressed in professional attire, swapping their everyday outfits for business-ready looks. The goal is to help students practice professionalism while building confidence for their future careers.
Alongside the new tradition, the Yes I’m A Designer curriculum is reshaping the way students learn graphic design. The updated program places a stronger focus on real-world projects, portfolio development, and industry skills, ensuring students leave the classroom ready to take on professional opportunities.
The combination of Work It Wednesday and the new curriculum highlights the program’s commitment to preparing students not only as creative thinkers, but as polished professionals.

✨ Cosmetology Class in Action! ✨
Our high school cosmetology students are getting hands-on with their learning in the most creative way! Today, we explored Skin Structure & Growth through a fun food building project. 🍰
Each layer represents the different parts of the skin—epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis—giving students a visual and interactive way to understand how our skin works. 🧑🔬💡
Not only are they gaining valuable knowledge, but they're also having a blast while doing it! 🌟
